Nick Anstett is Vice-President and Chief Strategy Officer at FinDev Canada where he oversees Corporate Strategy, Public Policy & Government Relations, Communications & Brand Leadership, Strategic Partnerships, and the organization’s Regional Offices. Together, these teams act as an integrated strategy and external affairs centre of expertise to advance FinDev Canada’s understanding of and response to the fast-evolving development finance landscape in collaboration with trusted partners and high-impact clients.

Nick has spent his career at the intersection of development finance, impact, strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Before joining FinDev Canada, Nick served as Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Markets at Pollination, a specialist climate change investment and advisory firm. In this role, Nick led a team of professionals advising financial institutions, industry, and governments on catalytic capital strategies for climate and nature action. Prior to Pollination, Nick managed the Sustainability Practice at Albright Stonebridge Group where he advised corporate and philanthropic clients on public-private collaboration for impact in emerging markets and developing economies and led a series of large, cross-sector partnerships for mobilizing private climate finance. Earlier in his career, Nick was a Partner at FGS Longview, Canada's leading corporate communications and public affairs firm, where he advised boards and management on financial communications strategies for complex transactions and other corporate special situations.

Nick holds an MBA with Distinction from Oxford's Saïd Business School, an MA in International Communications from Royal Roads University, and a BSc from Queen's University
