Ariane Ducreux
Ariane Ducreux leads the Sustainable Infrastructure team at FinDev Canada. She brings extensive experience in development finance and infrastructure investment across emerging markets. Her professional background spans energy, digital infrastructure, transport, water and sanitation, and climate related projects, combining private sector project finance with long standing engagement in development finance institutions.
Before joining FinDev Canada, Ariane held senior management roles within the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Group and Proparco, AFD’s private sector arm. Most recently, she served as Head of Proparco’s Energy, Digital and Infrastructure Division, leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for originating, structuring and managing infrastructure investments. She has also held senior country leadership positions in Southeast Asia and China, including as AFD Country Director for Thailand, Lao PDR and Myanmar, and as Deputy Director of AFD’s Beijing office.
Ariane began her career at Alcatel, working in project finance and business development in the telecommunications sector for international submarine cable projects. She is a graduate of the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris.
