What is the GLI Fund Manager Training?

FinDev Canada designed the Gender Lens Investing (GLI) Fund Manager Training as a beginner-friendly resource for fund managers and investment professionals to expand their capabilities on Gender Lens Investing using the 2X Criteria​ as the guiding framework. As a gender lens investor, FinDev Canada developed this training to support catalytic change in the investment community, recognizing the important role that fund managers play as a conduit for financing enterprises that generate positive impacts for women.

What makes this training unique?

  • It is adaptable, made up of three sessions which can be completed in a self-guided manner, or tailored and delivered with the support of a facilitator.
  • It lays the foundation for Gender Lens Investing as a concept, enabling participants to reflect on how to integrate these considerations in a practical manner across the investment lifecycle, and features case studies from fund managers and other corporate entities.
  • It involves exercises and practical application, making the training comprehensive, yet engaging and easily digestible, and the materials are available in English and French.
