Session description
Experts from leadings DFIs, internationals organizations and private investors will delve into the crucial role of DFIs and the private sector in closing the financing gap across global climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience goals, and explore what is needed to increase the mobilization of private capital into critical geographies and technologies in the coming years. Collaboration between financial institutions and the private sector offers a unique opportunity to leverage expertise, resources, and networks to drive impactful initiatives that promote sustainability and mitigate climate risks. Experts will explore how DFIs and private investors can leverage emerging technologies, and blended finance mechanisms to unlock new sources of funding for climate action.
